I'm not sure I'll ever take on a round canvas again... Though... who knows?

For some, a blank canvas evokes fear; for me, it is always intrigue, impatience, and curiosity—what is ready to manifest through me right now?... Which colors, which images, what will it be about?...

I never know the subject of a painting beforehand (with the exception of two pieces where I tried reaaally hard to capture what was actively demanding to be rendered exactly as revealed)... All other paintings, however, are pure trust and curiosity.

I look forward to each new piece probably more than anyone else. What message will it bring to me, and perhaps to someone else?... That is why I always create the background with such immense joy, giving momentum and direction to a new wave of incoming energy.

And then... I simply step aside and watch what emerges from under the brush...
