Here I will share a little about myself, giving context to who I am and why I paint the way I do.

 

Who am I? It is a wonderful question I have been exploring for decades, and this journey of self-discovery will likely never end.

 

Since childhood, I have sought to weave polarities into something whole. I was born and spent every summer by the southern sea in Crimea, yet grew up in the North—in a small military settlement surrounded by forest, the final stop on the bus route, with views of Lake Permus and the Khibiny Mountains from my window. Frequent moves, changing schools, cities, and environments taught me non-attachment and awakened a drive for transformation as a moving force.

 

After university, I built a successful 10-year career in banking. It came to a close with maternity leave, from which I simply never returned: my priorities shifted completely, beginning a profound search for myself beyond external expectations. It became a time of trainings, pilgrimages to power places, and meeting Teachers—a period of yoga, deep inner work, meditation, and psychotherapy, accompanied by a total transformation of my goals and social circle.

 

During these years, I pursued additional education in psychology across various modalities, art therapy, and systemic constellations. I became a Reiki Master, hypnotherapist, tarot reader, and runologist, studying with diverse mentors ranging from angel therapists and channelers to traditional northern shamans, among many others. After all, to know your darkness, you must step into the light; to recognize your light, you must descend into the dark. Only then can you acknowledge, accept, balance it all, and reclaim your inner strength.

 

I also have a deep passion for travel and exploring new cultures. I have visited over 60 countries across the globe—from Easter Island to Fiji, traveling through Yemen, the Galápagos, Bhutan, Uganda, India, Nepal, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Cambodia, and many more.

 

In 2016, I traveled to Tibet for the first time to complete the Kailash Kora. It was after this journey that painting entered my life—initially through mandalas and sacred geometry, later evolving into metaphorical art. In 2026, I returned to Mount Kailash for the second time and realized it was time to step forward, sharing my art not just privately, but with the world. Creating this website is the first step on that journey.
